Digital voice from your cable or fiber carrier, or a traditional line where it's still sold — your agent finds the home phone service that reaches your address and adds it to your order.

What the ZIP check can and can't tell you
Home phone today mostly rides the same cable, fiber or copper as your internet. We start from the FCC broadband filings for your ZIP to see which of our carriers reach it.
From those, we keep the carriers that offer home phone service and that we're authorized to sell.
Calling plans, number transfers and pricing are set by each carrier. Your agent confirms them for your exact address before anything is ordered.
Before you call
In most cases, yes — carriers can usually transfer an existing number to a new home phone line. Your agent checks the transfer with the carrier when you order.
Digital voice runs over the carrier's network and is usually sold alongside its internet. Your agent tells you whether a carrier at your address sells phone on its own.
A digital voice line needs power at your home, and carriers offer battery backup options for it. If you rely on the line for emergency calls, ask your agent about backup before you order.
No — our service is free to you. The carrier sets the plan and the price, and pays us a commission when you order. Our compensation disclosure explains how that works.
Your agent checks which carriers can give you a home line at your address and places the order, number transfer included.
